In August 2023, we saw the release of Oracle Integration 3 v23.08 and with it, we yet again see a whole host of new features. In this post I will document some of the key features that you can now take advantage of. Note – for full release information, please visit Oracle documentation here.
This is Oracle’s 8th release for the year.
NEW Common Features
New Common features of Oracle Integration 3 include:
- Ingress IP address is now available to be viewed in the “About menu”
NEW Integration Features
New integration features of Oracle Integration 3 include:
- Adapter Endpoint Configuration Wizard look & feel enhancements
- The ability to search for business identifier values that include special characters and white spaces
- Timeout session management which forces the user’s currently authenticated session to be invalidated after a set period of inactivity.
- Project enhancements – upcoming post.
- Certificate expiration notifications
- Enabling tracing when resubmitting an integration instance
- The ability to maintain business identifier definitions during trigger connection/scheduled integration changes. No longer have to reconfigure the business identifiers for minor changes to the trigger connection or schedule
- The ability to monitor event subscriptions – upcoming post.
- Native out-of-the-box action to call an OCI Function – upcoming post.
- Native out-of-the-box action to call OCI Object Storage – upcoming post. (note this will be released with 23.08.2 and is therefore not currently available at the time of writing this post)

New file server features of Oracle Integration 3 include:
